This short novel is sort of a reply to the Tam Lyn novels in which the lady saves her beau from Elfland. But the characters have to deal with real-world problems, the type that aren't solved by magically waving wands. Quite good!

I put off reading this for a long time, but when I finally read it I was sorry I had. It was surprisingly well done with characters I could easily relate to. The story line was very good and the ending was GREAT! Don't pass this one up!
