I grew up in New England and like everyone else there, loved the Sox. Bill lee was one of their best pitchers and truly one the greatest characters in Sox history and also baseball.
Bill truly loves the game and travels the world looking for any chance to play. Mix this desire with his drug and alcohol use and you have a funny, intesting read written by a man who really knows and loves the game. Excellent book for any baseball fan , especially Sox fans.
