This is a GREAT asian cookbook, and the emphasis is on recipes that are naturally gluten free. The beginning has a list of common asian cooking ingredients, and describes if they are naturally gluten free, or if there are gluten free varieties available, or if there's a good substitute, or if it's just something to avoid. I love the section describing the properties of the different kinds of asian noodles.
Most of the recipes are Thai, Japanese, and Vietnamese. They do include a list of online places where you can buy some of these ingredients. I live in a major city with a large asian population, so have no trouble finding any of the ingredients in an asian market - people who live in a small town, however, might have issues with locating the ingredients.
