Most people with Celiac will love this book - great selection of recipes that are well-written, easy to follow and widely tested using folks without celiac and "regular" people...who can't tell the difference! Bette Hagman includes vital information on celiac, ingredients and substitutions. My copy has a number of tabs attached to mark specific favorite recipes.

I just joined the gluten-free world, and I went wild with checking out gluten-free cookbooks from my local library before I decided to buy any. So far, this is the only one I am buying! The recipes are for "real food", and I have already used many of the recipes from it. Just in the last week I have had sourdough bread, pizza, and Monte Cristo sandwiches! I'm totally delighted to have found this book because the others I have looked at didn't really have recipes for things I would actually eat. A definite must buy if you have a family and are on a budget, like me.

Having recently been diagnosed with Celiacs this book has helped alot. She discusses many specific food issues that other books do not go into such as what to do when you enter the hospital, how to travel - including tips on packing and getting through security with your food. So many issues I never would have thought off. I am on a forum which has helped me a lot and they discuss her alot as the go to source for trust-worthy information. I now understand why. The book also has tons of delicious recipes and not just the standard banana bread and white sandwich bread - but challah bread, zucchini bread, tons of cookies and a delicious variety of brownies.
