The inspiring true story following the life of Brother Andrew who learns what it really means to have faith in God at all times... no matter what! This book is by no means a boring read.

When I read this book, I was so inspired my heart throbbed. I have just recently read another book by Brother Andrew called Secret Believers. Both of these books are a must read for every Christian.

The true story of how Brother Andrew took Bibles into behind the iron curtain during the cold war years. The book begins in his childhood and follows his life up through World War II and eventually to Brother Andrews salvation. He tells of the training he received while at Bible school and how he learned to depend on The Lord for both need and protection. Then how The Lord led him to a life of service of trying to reach those in communist countries by smuggling Bibles into the countries in the languages needed. A real blessing to read.

The story of a courageous man who risked his life for the cause of Christ. Christian biography at its best!

A life of faith was something I reserved for those between the pages of Genesis and Revelation, not something I considered possible or even probable for believers today. Slowly, God has brought me to people like Brother Andrew who show me through their lives it is possible to live a radical faith.

My calling, my purpose may not be like his, but I can walk by faith along the Royal Way trusting a Savior who is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Absolutely loved it. I learned so much about that type of activity that they don't teach in public schools. It was challenging to my own beliefs and literally changed my life. It's in my top 5 favorite books of all time!!!!

I remember listening to this book as a read-aloud at camp, and I totally enjoyed sharing Brother Andrew's adventures with my boys, re-living them!

A true-life thriller that will leave you breathless!

As a boy, Brother Andrew dreamed of being an undercover spy working behind enemy lines. As a man he found himself working undercover for God. His was a mission filled with danger, financed by faith, supported by miracles.

Told it was impossible to minister behind the Iron Curtain, Andrew knew that nothing was too hard for God. Crossing "closed" borders, he prayed, "Lord, in my luggage I have Scripture I want to take to Your children. When You were on earth, You made blind eyes see. Now, I pray, make seeing eyes blind. Do not let the guards see those things You do not want them to see." And they never did.

For thirty-five years, Brother Andrew's life story has inspired millions to step out on their own journeys of faith. This young Dutch factory worker's near-incredible adventures testify of God's step-by-step guidance and hour-by-hour provision--available to all who follow His call.

Far from being over, Brother Andrew's current adventures are his most challenging yet. In a new prologue and epilogue, his story is carried into the new millennium with an account of Andrew's work in the "closed" societies of Islam.

Exciting story of how a Dutch man's passion for getting God's Word into the hands of people everywhere was directed by his faith in God to provide and protect him as he traveled into Communist countries. Beginning with the Iron Curtain, his trips then took Him to Communist Cuba and China, and his ministry eventually grew to include Islamic countries. Stories like this should really cause us to appreciate the religious freedoms we enjoy and how readily available Bibles are to us here in the US.
