I read We're Going to Need More Wine for #nonfictionnovember because of Gabrielle Union's ties to Omaha, Nebraska, the city I call home. Since I exist in a pop culture cave, I haven't seen Ms. Union's movies or TV shows so this was my first introduction.
I was surprised by her honesty, especially when sharing several very serious events in her life, and was impressed that she turned each situation into an opportunity to advocate for others experiencing similar events.
