I have loved Goldie since the "Laugh-in Show" where she made her uncontrollable laughter and "ditsy blonde" ways into a memorable "go-go dancer" character. In this memoir, she traces her early years with her family and friends to her current family with Kurt Russell. She reveals her search for strength and enlightenment in the face of pressures and life's sorrows. Her positive nature comes through, as does her love of children, friends and life in general. This is a good, inspiring read with lots of great pictures.

Any woman who has been a mother, a sister, a daughter, a wife... should read this book. Goldie Hawn reaches into her soul and reveals her struggle to be accepted by her peers in school, her deep love and affection for her parents and sister, and her luck (and her angel that helped her) in surviving a near fatal accident. She shows a depth of feeling and character I never saw in some of her film characters. She's wonderful to watch on screen, but so much more than that. She seems to have found just the right balance in her life. She adores her children, and reveals the love and respect she has for her life partner, Kurt Russell. A wonderful read. Don't miss this one! And pass it on when you're done!

This is not a biography. Goldie Hawn explores the essential moments of her life. A very spiritual person, Ms. Hawn describes childhood events, friendships, travels and family life events that she treasures. She has an extremely positive outlook on life.
I enjoyed the book but must admit I was ready for the book to end. Very well written, easy to read.

I loved this book by one of my favorite actresses. It was so wonderful to read about her life and how she became an actress. It was very interesting and kept my interest all the way through. I laughed and cried with her. I can see why she was a favorite of mine.
