Well written, easy to read, yet scholarly. Not entirely convincing, yet quite thought-provoking.

I would not reccomend this book to conservative christians. It is very liberal and does not follow the bible's teaching.

Excellent, refreshing book on reading the Bible without using it as a weapon to thrash others (or oneself). I highly recommend it.
