This book is easily read, a lighthearted but also reflective account of a young man's decision to leave the corporate world to join the Jesuits. I picked it up because two of my kids are in Jesuit high schools, and I wanted to know more about the men who are teaching them. I enjoyed it very much. It put a human face on men who make the not so usual decision to give up stuff in their lives and follow a spiritual path. I recommend this book.

When I read the book description, I thought this would be a book I would like to read. I was not disappointed. This is a very good book for anyone interested in learning what it is like to enter the religious life. It was a hard book to put down. It is written in such an easy manner that you feel like you are sitting in the room listening to Fr. Martin tell his story. The story helps you appreciate the sacrifices and training one goes through to serve God and his people.
