I truly enjoyed the Good Earth, It was written in the 1930's about a very different China, that is today, yet gives some insight into the people and culture that is China.

Well written and interesting detail of life in China. But way too depressing for me.
Great Great book. As time changes, people really don't. Power and corruption see no generation. A must read!
