This is a good book about families and the ghosts that all families have in their closets. The storyline is about a wealthy woman who comes home to the vacation home of her childhoods, along with her cousins and sister, as her mother is dying. As the story progresses, the reader finds out secrets that have been hidden within the family for years...along with the understanding of why the main character is the way that she is. This is a good book that I had never heard of before, but I would defintely recommend it.

Although it took me a little while to get into this book, the story was pretty good about a woman "coming home" as her mother is dying and the eccentric group of cousins she must deal with.

I really enjoyed this book. I found it both funny and very touching. This book will especially appeal to anyone who has ever spent a summer, (or more), in the beautiful northern tip of the lower peninsula of Michigan on the shores of the state's great lake. I count myself as very fortunate to have experienced a few summers in this beautiful place. The story is real life and anyone should be able to relate to the family in this story. I found it to be a great story.
