The first few chapters read almost like vignettes, instead of a novel and seemed a bit choppy. Stick with it, Leary pulls all of the characters together for a good read, complete with a bit of mystery, suspense and a love story.

I loved this book. I loved the way it was written. The way the thoughts of the main character are expressed are perfect and quite funny. A very interesting story about the life of a woman who drinks a bit too much.
This was a good book. It's a well written story that kept me interested the whole way through. Though I have my own personal opinions on the subject matter, I found the characters believable for the most part and even though they did bad things they were likable to me because they seemed very human.
