This is a really cute little book with tiny nuggets of advice on how to handle stressful situations. It's a trifle cutesy, with elf illustrations for each piece of wisdom, but it's an easy way to calm down and take a moment to meditate on each passage. I found myself referring to it when I was stressed out, just opening to read a page or two. It really helped!
This would be a good gift to someone starting out on their own, a new mom, someone going through loss, someone stressed out, or basically anyone living in this insane world.

I wasnt too sure about this book some of it was vague and selfish. For instance
item 12 says when you're hurt tell the person who hurt you. Keeping it inside will make it grow. but 13 reads: when you see someone's else hurt face, BREATHE, You are not responsible for making other people happy. I did like 14. When you have work to do and you dont want to do it, decide what really needs to be done and what can wait. So I am getting off the computer, putting this sELVEish book down and going to mop my dirty floors.
