As one who lost three of my cats in 2005 (two within a week of each other) this book was helpful in my grieving process. What a coincidence that it was listed on PBS at the time I needed it.
The loss of a cherished pet is never easy, yet I benefitted from this book and am relisting it in the hopes that the next reader will also find something between the covers to help them with their loss.

So helpful! The best I've read so far and this has definitely helped me along since my dog died a few months ago. Every single pet companion in the world should read this. It really helps.
