This book was just so-so. I really had to struggle to finish it. Didn't seem to hold my attention much. Confusing names between the 2 main characters Maddie and Izzie. I was constantly wondering which one was which.

If you are an anglophile this is the book for you. I don't know about anyone else but, I usually have trouble getting into books that are about people in England. I know what a nappie and fag is but, I have to think about it and this impedes my story comprehension. I didn't have that problem with this book the characters are engaging and interesting so you keep reading to find out if everything turns out in the end. Makes you want to call your best friend and set up a "girls weekend".

I thoroughly got engrossed in this book. A wonderful tale of how sometimes life can take you in directions you never thought possible. I loved the tale of the friendship as well. Not some sappy love story this is all about Friendship and Bussiness.

I absolutely loved this book. It was a nice surprise. I was trying to get free shipping on Amazon so just put a few extra books in to get to the $25 minimum order. This was a real delight. It was a bit slow to begin with, but not for long at all. It picked up momentum and didn't slow down again! It was a really fast read, although it's 400 pages in length, I couldn't put it down. It's about two women who move from the big city of London to the country and find themselves fast companions amongst the sea of the "stepford wives" of the country. After a horrible tragedy strikes, the women become closer and find out how powerful and smart they both are. It's a light, fun story, but also uplifting and makes you want to invent something or start your own business. It's a great book. I am so glad I discovered it!
