Wow, just wow. This book started a little slow for my tastes...I generally prefer to be completely engrossed in a story from the first paragraph. However, by the 4th chapter I was hooked (and I mean really hooked). I read the rest of the book in one sitting, absolutely could not bear to put it down. It is a totally moving, shocking, heart-wrenching, gut churning story. One which takes you on a journey as opposed to seeing words on a page. Normally I am one to read a book and pass it on, this however is going to sit on my keeper shelf.

Not sure what to expect when I picked up this book. Never read the author before, but I was mesmerized. I felt so many emotions during my journey with the characters in this book. Highly recommend.
