Delicious! Nothing makes a story better than characters I can connect with emotionally, and book 3 in the Dear Lady Truelove series serves up the goods. Jamie, widower and father to uncontrollable twin sons, wrestles with his guilt-filled desire after the death of a much-loved spouse while Amanda, skilled teacher with a scandalous and embarrassing secret, suffers with the overwhelming shame of flawed choices. Amanda's deception was a little far-fetched but it still works and is quite entertaining. (Look for the scene of the big reveal!) Even the mischief-making twins are fun and not at all overblown or obnoxious. Absolutely a good read at 4 stars.
