After several weeks of intensive e-mailing, the letters stop and Grace is overwhelmed with fear for her correspondent. when the e-mails resume, something seems weird, but Grace cannot decide just what it is. Her brother and her significant other, along with her daughter, advise her to be wary, but Grace wants to help in any way she can. Who is her correspondent and why is she writing such weird stuff? An author corresponds with a battered woman and tries to give her advice, but soon begins to wonder who the woman really is. THe end is a surprise.HUmorous, and surprising.
I enjoyed this book. Charlotte writes as though she's been aquainted with spousal abuse and its far-reaching results.
