I tried reading this book and didn't make it much past about 7 chapters. While normally this type of book would have been read very quickly, it seemed slow and really failed to grab my attention. Others may enjoy this book, but it wasn't one I could even finish.

I loved, loved, LOVED this book. This is one of the first romance heros that I have truely wanted to hunt down and keep for myself. The Great Scot is the best Kauffman book I have read yet. The characters are so believable and complicated. I did not want this book to end.

My first of Donna Kauffman's books to read. I finished it all in one day but thought it was missing that "special something". BUT I will probably get another Donna Kauffman book in the future!!

This started out as page turning fun but got too repetitive to make it onto my keeper shelf. Go for it if you're in the mood for a Scottish story with a small town cast and an emotionally wounded hero.

American Erin McGregor comes to Scotland to look for a site to film the reality show, Your Prince Charming (think The Bachelor). She finds the ancestral home of hottie Scottie, Dylan Chisholm, who doesn't want anything to do with such ridiculousness. He eventually caves to Erin's request. You'll have to read it to find out what happens next.
