I am a mother of two teen boys ages 16 and 15 who lost their father (my former husband and still friend) to suicide back in early May.  I am looking for advice on a great book to help me help them with the grief process that also helps with suicide if possible.  I lost my father when I was young but his death was natural causes.  They are in counseling but I feel like I need to do more.  Like I need to be there for them in every way I can.  Is there a certain book you can recommend for this that anyone has found useful in this situation?

I am also grieving.  We were together for 21 years and divorced less than 1 year.  We still spoke on the phone almost daily and remained good friends.  I miss him so much.  Maybe there is a book for me?

Thanks!

I wish I had a book suggestion for you. I'm so sorry for your loss. What a terrible tragedy. I hope that counseling, and your great support, will help your children with their grief.

I wish I had a book suggestion too but I don't know of any.  I just wanted to say that I am sorry for the loss.  I can't imagine how hard that must be for you & your sons. frown

Perhaps the counselors may have some suggestions for books?
