The romance story is great, and it will take you on a fun adventure through the NASCAR world. I just loved our hero and herione. Lance was just a great guy. Sexy, kind, down to earth. He is tired of the groupie fans who throw themself at him, and wants someone who isn't caught up in his fame and fortune. Sarah is wonderful too, and I just love it when the heroine is likable and not complaining all the time. She has no idea who Lance is, but finds herself working for him. The chemestry between them is great and real, but I'll tell you this is a squeeky clean romance novel. There are NO sex scenes in this book. It completely skips over all the physical romance. Even the language is vague and tame. No dirty or highly suggestive words. There is a hot kiss or two, but that is it. I only mention it because I know I like my romance novels steamy, but besides that I still found this book great.

Nice story but absolutely NO LOVE SCENES. I was very disappointed in that aspect of the book since these two could have been much hotter.

Fun romance, especially for NASCAR fans who know about racing.

Sarah was a kindergarden teacher, until a sleezy boyfriend got her fired. The only job she could find was for a race car driver Lance Cooper. Soon things heat up on the track, and Sarah begins to wonder if she might be able to teach the one famous race car driver a few lessons about love.

Nascar AND romance?! Who would have thought it! This is one you and your better half can both read - and then you can pass it on to the boys!
I have read this book several times by taking it out of the library. It is a great book and I have to say that it made me keep reading it even when I knew I should put it down for a bit. I love the way that Pamela has worded it. It has great information in it about Nascar. Now I read all of her Nascar Books and can't wait til her new one comes out in November.
Sarah Tingle is a kindergarten teacher who just lost her job due to a slight "indiscretion" from years ago. She has taken on a job as a motor coach driver for race-car drive Lance Cooper to earn some money and time to find a new teaching position. She knows nothing about racing and just needs the job.
Lance Cooper is in a bit of a slump and needs to focus on his driving. Sarah is a distraction he doesn't think he needs.
This is a really sweet romance. Very clean--only a few curse words in the whole book and NO sex (just implied). Totally acceptable for a "younger" reader. Lance and Sarah are both cute characters and easily likable.
This was a quick read that I really enjoyed. It was my first Pamela Britton book and I am going to keep reading more. This is actually the second in the NASCAR series (after Dangerous Curves), but I did not read the first. There wasn't a need to read the first, but there were a few references that I might have understood if I had read Dangerous Curves.

GREAT NASCAR STORY. HOPE SHE WRITES MANY MORE.
Not bad for a quick read. If you are a NASCAR fan or the wife/girlfriend of one, some of it you will find quite humorous. I know I did.
A must read for racing fans who are fans of romance novels.

Loved it. End of story.
Sara was a kindergarden teacher that lost her job. Lance was a race car driver who needed a bus driver. He is convinced she is hi good luck charm, but has not interest in his jet setting lifestyle. Too bad that whenever he comes near she turns as hot as race fuel.

Sarah was a kindergarten teacher until a sleazy ex-boyfriend got her fired. Now the only job she can find is driving the motor coach for racing star Lance Cooper. She doesn't know a thing about NASCAR---and she's off to a rocky start when she doesn't recognize her ultra-famous boss.
Lance can't help but notice Sarah's sweet smile---and how seriously unimpressed she is with his fame. Her reaction piques his interest--and he's convinced she's a good luck charm. But sarah has no interest in his jet-setting life; she'd rather deal with spitballs than with one supersexy race car driver. Too bad whenever he comes near her she turns as hot as race fuel.
Soon things begin to heat up on the track, and Sarah begins to wonder if she might be able to teach one famous race car driver a few lessons about love.

NASCAR #2
Sarah Tingle is most comfortable with kids, she loved being a kindergarten teacher until her ex went out for revenge, causing her to lose everything. Off to North Carolina she heads hoping to teach, instead she finds herself getting a job to drive a race car drivers bus. Sarah dont have a clue about the racing industry and wouldnt even know her famous new boss if he hit her with his car.
Lance Cooper was intrigued with his new employee. She could car less about his fame and fortune, she didnt even know who he was and somehow that didnt bother him. When she bakes him cookies and gives him a pep talk like hes one of her students, it changes his losing streak. You dont let go of things that bring you good luck, but how can he hang on to her?
The readers met Lance Cooper in the first book, Dangerous Curves. Blain Sanders young new driver who was flirtatious and full of wise cracks. I really enjoyed the way the author brought the previous characters back into the book, showing how their lives have moved ahead as well. Looking forward to the next five books in this series.
