Everyone of the 24 stories here are written from the southern hearts of these talented authors. I sure do love me some good ole southern writting. Of course as everyone will, i have my favorites and have thus looked for more by my favorite authors since i have finished this treasure in hand. Each story was great in it's own right, i just related to some better than others. This was a great way for me to "taste" some "new to me" southern authors without ordering a whole lotta books. I am very pleased with this assortment...it's like the old saying, "it's like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get".

I love Southern lit. And this is a great little guide to rite of passage stuff from a myriad of southern authors.
