Annabelle Grandville's husband is dead and her four-year-old son is the new Earl of Weston. Perhaps even more catastrophic is the news that her husband named his brother the guardian of Giles and all of the immense estate.

Stephen...five years ago was banished to Jamaica nd now he is coming home. Once the thought of Stephen coming home was all she wanted out of life, but not anymore. She had made her life without him.

There are some things that are unforgivable, as Stephen will find out if he thinks he can take up where he left off with Annabelle.
