Good read, lots of action, great characters [including Frieka the computer enhanced wolf, a personal favorite], suspenseful plot - and they saved the villian to make the sequel in the best Hollywood tradition! Book 2 of the Time Hunters, it follows VERY closely on the end of Warrior and the story arc started there is continued. Order is important with this series.
Time Hunters
1. Warrior (2008)
2. Guardian (2009)
FYI, Guardian's heroine is the child of the hero/heroine in Jane's Warlord. Frieka was introduced there also.

This second book delivered everything the first book did. I thoroughly enjoyed it...stayed up all night to read it because I couldn't put it down.
Fabulous world-building! Both the Vardon (good guys) and Xer (bad guys) societies are well-created, with Knight paying equal attention to both cultures. She didn't depend on any one device too much.
Great characterization including the secondary ones, most of which were described in detail without breaking stride. Riane and Nick fall hard and fast for each other. While the speed at which they fell in love was a bit unrealistic I was able to suspend disbelief for the sake of the story. Riane finds herself stranded in time with only Nick there to help and support her. Once again, Knight has filled the story line with sizzling sex.
This book had more point of views to follow than the first book but Knight wove them together beautifully. Next on my list is to get Warlord which I understand is a prequel of sorts to this series. I can't wait to read more from this world!

I loved this book! It has sexual tones and humor and makes your imagination go wild! I have bought all the books I can find by this author. I love her!

Angela Knight tells all in her sexually charged futuristic time cop series stories. I collect them all, and fold the corners to re-read the steamy pages! With so many characters I have to re-read to keep them all straight, so start with her first book, or better yet with the main book Jane's Warlord, which was the best of these 3. This is the first story of hers that I recall where the female character has self doubts about her worth and appearance.

I've had this book for awhile, but never got around to reading it. The first book in the series, "Warrior", was good, but not as good as her King Arthur Vampire Series. Now I can't believe I waited so long. This book caught me at the beginning and didn't let go until I was finished. Excellent!!
