Eoin Colfer writes children's books...for adults. I read alot of juvenile and YA fiction in the name of volunteerism, and occasionally come across stories that cross all age lines. This novel fits that bill! Eoin Colfer draws his characters for Middle-school ages, but places them in adventures that would thrill adults.
Adult readers may want to take a break from their Patterson, Brown, Grafton, and Cornwell, and sit back for this fun romp as Fletcher Moon leaves the cushy life of lost pets and school supplies, and finds himself on a first-name basis with the dark side of the city. FIVE STARS :o)

Not anywhere close to the genius that is Artemis Fowl. But a quirky, quick afternoon read.
Interesting new series by the author of "Artemis Fowl". I kinda doubt that real-life 10 and 12 year old kids are as sophisticated in their language and thinking as these kids are, but it's still an amusing story with a solid lesson about judging others...
