You will need a directory of characters to keep everyone straight. Along with a family tree. A good story, but man, the people who come and go in this book is amazing. All in all, I liked the character of Sallie. Some of the male characters were a little annoying, but then, they were only men.
I really enjoyed this book. It is full of unexpected twists and turns that keeps the story very interesting.
