I got this book because I like history. However, this book is written with a clear bias that I found extremely annoying, so that I could not read more then a few pages.

Yes, slavery was abhorrent, but the author's clear disdain for it perveated every sentence written. His condemnation of our founding fathers made it impossible for me to read.
