Different box cover than that pictured....Hannibal "The Cannibal" Lecter trilogy...Hannibal is really not a sequel at all, but rather the third and most satisfying part of one very long and scary ride through the haunted palace of abnormal psychiatry.

This audio is read by the author - Thomas HarrisYou've probably seen the movie, and read the books, but now comes, the audio! Before I go any further, I should tell you that there are two different audios; the unabridged version, read by Daniel Gerroll, and this one, the abridged edition read by the author. I have listened to them both!If you get the opportunity, or you see the audio with Daniel Gerroll posted in here, GRAB IT! If for no other reason than to compare the two readings for yourself.I think Anthony Hopkins' portrayel of Hannibal was truly Emmy worthy! Sadly, I don't share that enthusiasm with the books, or for that matter, with the audios. Although this was an enjoyable listen, I actually preferred the Unabridged version (for the reader alone!)This is one of those books, that everyone you ask about it, everyone will have a different opinion! Listen to it, form one for yourself.
