Powerful writing about an important topic but the implications made me reluctant to pick up the book again and my stomach hurt. It's hard to write a review without revealing spoilers. This would be a good choice if you like philosophical considerations about happiness and family life, have an interest in linguistics, and are okay with ambiguous endings. If you are looking for a simple mystery with a feel good ending, this is not the book for you.
