I am an atheist and Prager is one of the few theists I respect. He makes a logical case for the need for religion in happiness. The book does an excellent job of explaining happiness. Good counter to Rand's position that it is selfishness (which is a positive rational self interest) to be happy and that it is from accomplishment. Prager says it is altruistic that you are happy for others you care about. He makes good points well argued but I am still not convinced.
