This book was so interesting I read it in just a couple days...something I rarely do. It is a fictional story of a mysterious prophet who moves in and out of the main character's life, each time leaving him with an additional "Harbinger" mystery to solve.

The connections between ancient Israel and America, as based on the bible verse Isaiah 9:10, draw such parallels that are startling. The fact that Israel in Isaiah's time faced judgement, and the same pattern of judgement is being manifest in America.

Whether you are a Christian, or not, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn spins a mystery that will keep you glued to this book till you finish.

Awesome book! Once you get past the first chapter or so, you don't want to stop reading. I'll keep this to read again in a few months.

Great book, it is a most read for anyone interested in modern day events and prophesy. The author ties together the events and Bible verses together to make a very compelling read. It was hard to put down.

Excellent book that points out things I would never have know otherwise about Sept 11, 2001 when the trade towers were attacked and fell. Don't miss this one or it's sequel!!

This book is worth the reading. It will really make you think about the future of the United States and reflect on where you are in your own life and if you are ready for the end time.

I would recommend it for anyone that is interested in bible prophecy of the future.

If you are looking for a romance or novel plot, it is not the book for you.

Everyone in America can probably remember exactly where they were and what they were doing on September 11, 2001. It is an iconic and devastating moment in American history. In this message, Pastor Jimmy Evans interviews Rabbi Jonathan Cahn about what the attacks on September 11 and the events that followed mean for America in terms of Biblical prophecy.

When I started reading this book I almost put it down because of it's redundancy, meaning that in my opinion some of the text could have been left out but then I thought of it in another way and thought that for some it needed, the extra repeating, to be there.

I found the book engrossing none the less. I have always beleved in God and have accepted Christ. I have also heard many times over, as well as lived it, that God uses bad for GOOD. As I was reading this book my mind was opened wide and I realized how HUGH God is.

Like one of the other reviews said, I too will be keeping this book for my own library. I bought the book not sure what to expect but for those who are just thinking of wanting to read it wait but for those who seem to see it every where and are drawn to it and pick it up...buy it. Not so much for the story but just the revelation of having your mind opened to the massiveness of God and just how small we are.

We think it's us in control and that we are so big...

I'm impressed with the revelation.

Although presented as fiction, the warning in this book is very real (and footnoted and well documented) and should be read--and taken to heart--by everyone in the U.S.A.

I agree with the reviewers who are keeping the book to read again. I agree that some of the writing was kind of repetitive. But, overall, I found the content to be very interesting, and I feel that Jonathan Cahn did a good job of backing up what he was saying by documenting where he got his facts. It would be a challenge to write this type of book in which fact is presented as a fiction story. He wrote it this way to make it easier for the general population to read and absorb. I found the book to be very interesting and did enjoy it. The book was an eye opener for me, in regards to some of the events that have happened regarding various details of 9-11, and its aftermath.

Disappointing. A good book should be believable, this was not. The author weaves together absurd and obscure text in hopes of keeping you turning the pages, and presumably buying his future writings. On the plus side, if you like conspiracy theories then this book may interest you.

Jonathan Cahn's book about the prophesies given in Isaiah for today is written in a conversational style, which appeals to many readers. If you are interested in more information about the Bible and if you think it has relevance now, then this book will certainly help. If you want hope, knowing that you are not in control of the big events, then you will like this book as well.

I did enjoy learning more on both counts and found this a very quick read.

I would not call this a book of facts as it is based on the Bible with some actual events woven in to give it credibility, but it is not work of fiction either. It is a good religious lecture, a VERY LONG preaching monolog. And PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A NOSTRADAMUS PROPHECIES like book! If like me, you picked up this book thinking it would be like Nostradamus book, well put the book down and walk away!

This book gives what at first seem to be a good sermon, but then drags on and on and on about the evils of men and how America turned away from good values and GOD and call it Tolerance. How we murder babies by the millions (same as killing them for Ball) and that Americans now worship false idols of self: self-indulgence: though capitalism (read shopping), self-righteousness, self-importance. The selfishness in all its forms! Also there is the Liberalism: Tolerance of the scripture forbidden: Gay & Lesbian marriage, abortion. And intolerance to christians and their values, removing God from public places....

The story of the prophet giving the narrator the 9 seals and the mystery of them takes back seat to the heavy handled religious lecture that lasts the entire 254 pg. The narrator re-tels his story of his numerous encounters with the nameless profit, to a listening journalist. The well established, clinical journalist is at first skeptical, but then in less then an hour eats out of the narrators hand as if he brought her the biggest piece of news ever to seen the light of day since JESUS BROUGHT US THE WORD. Though the narrator has nothing to support his story, beyond a few devastating events plugged out of the US history (from Abraham Lincoln to the 9/11), some very basic Bible quotes that supposedly prove the seals he was given (temporarily) each predicted one of the catastrophic evens he presents to the listener. He is armed with moral outrage of the message he was given to spread, (a.i. the fall of moral values in America = The destruction of the cornerstones that made America great). And the listening journalist just throws away her common sense, her skepticism, her analytical & critical thinking that propelled her into successful career of an established journalist, in a see of competing sharp-minded people. She basically throws away every last thread of professional self-preservation and gobbles up the preposterous story as it is presented to her. YUP that is VERY BELIEVABLE (for those not getting the remark, please insert IRONY here).

The only redeeming feature of this book was that the writing flows well and the story moves along fairly fast. Thought the characters are dull, brainless bimbos with zero development. The mystery is buried under heavy-handled moralizing religious lecture that never stops. The conclusion .... well there isn't one. The book ends on the note: What will you do with the "God is royally pissed at Americans, whom He created to be His people like the Israelites. So the end is coming and we are all going to suffer hell fire, if we don't repent and turn back to God" message? With the implied answer from the journalist: Im not sure at this point...

I'm sorry but cant recommend this book. Despite its high points it is the worst christian fiction I had the misfortune to waste my time on. But if you are a fan of the author or if you like heavy moralizing "I told you so 50x already" sermons then you might find the book to your liking.
