I would not call this a book of facts as it is based on the Bible with some actual events woven in to give it credibility, but it is not work of fiction either. It is a good religious lecture, a VERY LONG preaching monolog. And PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A NOSTRADAMUS PROPHECIES like book! If like me, you picked up this book thinking it would be like Nostradamus book, well put the book down and walk away!

This book gives what at first seem to be a good sermon, but then drags on and on and on about the evils of men and how America turned away from good values and GOD and call it Tolerance. How we murder babies by the millions (same as killing them for Ball) and that Americans now worship false idols of self: self-indulgence: though capitalism (read shopping), self-righteousness, self-importance. The selfishness in all its forms! Also there is the Liberalism: Tolerance of the scripture forbidden: Gay & Lesbian marriage, abortion. And intolerance to christians and their values, removing God from public places....

The story of the prophet giving the narrator the 9 seals and the mystery of them takes back seat to the heavy handled religious lecture that lasts the entire 254 pg. The narrator re-tels his story of his numerous encounters with the nameless profit, to a listening journalist. The well established, clinical journalist is at first skeptical, but then in less then an hour eats out of the narrators hand as if he brought her the biggest piece of news ever to seen the light of day since JESUS BROUGHT US THE WORD. Though the narrator has nothing to support his story, beyond a few devastating events plugged out of the US history (from Abraham Lincoln to the 9/11), some very basic Bible quotes that supposedly prove the seals he was given (temporarily) each predicted one of the catastrophic evens he presents to the listener. He is armed with moral outrage of the message he was given to spread, (a.i. the fall of moral values in America = The destruction of the cornerstones that made America great). And the listening journalist just throws away her common sense, her skepticism, her analytical & critical thinking that propelled her into successful career of an established journalist, in a see of competing sharp-minded people. She basically throws away every last thread of professional self-preservation and gobbles up the preposterous story as it is presented to her. YUP that is VERY BELIEVABLE (for those not getting the remark, please insert IRONY here).

The only redeeming feature of this book was that the writing flows well and the story moves along fairly fast. Thought the characters are dull, brainless bimbos with zero development. The mystery is buried under heavy-handled moralizing religious lecture that never stops. The conclusion .... well there isn't one. The book ends on the note: What will you do with the "God is royally pissed at Americans, whom He created to be His people like the Israelites. So the end is coming and we are all going to suffer hell fire, if we don't repent and turn back to God" message? With the implied answer from the journalist: Im not sure at this point...

I'm sorry but cant recommend this book. Despite its high points it is the worst christian fiction I had the misfortune to waste my time on. But if you are a fan of the author or if you like heavy moralizing "I told you so 50x already" sermons then you might find the book to your liking.
