Generously seasoned with her distinctive brand of impudent wit, set against the fascinating world of jousting competitions, and graced with a full cast of deliciously original characters (including a fiendishly adorable cat), MacAlister's latest fresh, funny, and fabulously sexy contemporary romance is pure fun.

This is my kind of romance. An intelligent (but not perfect) heroine mixing it up with an Alpha male, who though cautious, isn't really afraid to love a woman. The two take turns chasing each other (though neither runs away very fast or for very long.) The banter is humorous, the sex is hot, and the payoff is love (since the sex starts early.) I'm ordering more of this author's books.

Another terrific Katie MacAlister book! As usual, this one keeps you laughing from the first page to the last. It has comedy, sex, intrigue, a little of everything - all wrapped up in delightful Ren-Fair style!
