Too funny, yet very insightful. this book explores 22 familiar myths about family living and the like with side-splitting humor, and commonsense information. There is a lot of hilarious info from her life and also a lot of great insight into what family life is like, while all the time there is inspiration and information pouring from the pages. A must read for everyone.

This book is like a great talk with your best friend over coffee...especially written for moms, by a fellow mom, you will LOVE this book if you think only your older female relatives give ridiculous advice...if you ever want to bring a Happy Meal into a sit down restaurant...from the back:
"You are what you eat."
"The best things in life are free."
"You can't get pregnant while breastfeeding."
We've all heard the cliches. But are they true? Karen Linamen proves that in the wild and wacky world of family life, these sayings hold water about as well as a pair of wet pantyhose. Debunking twenty-two familiar myths, she offers sidesplitting observations and commonsense solutions on everything from lethal lunchbox leftovers to the postnatal body. Through it all, Karen inspires, informs, and entertains as she celebrates the offbeat upside of family life.
