Very interesting short story. It really makes you think. This was published in 1961 but it feels very modern when reading. Strongly recommend.
As I read this short story, I couldnt help comparing it to The Giver . Though I havent read The Giver in a very long time, I believe that the main character lives in a society in which everyone is expected to look and act the same way. I cant remember how the book ends, but I was disappointed with the way this short story ended. Overall, its a decent read and made me appreciate the freedoms I do have.
