At this point, it's no shock to read a positive review of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. It is the beginning of the story that has won over the hearts of the world. After reading the book, it's no wonder it has been so popular. The characters are charming in just the right ways. As it was written for children, the language isn't complex which combined with the captivating story creates a quick and satisfying read.

Book One of an incredible series. This book will draw you into the Wizarding World and you won't want to come back out. Fabulous plot and brilliant characters. Harry Potter will teach you more than you would be able to imagine.

I love all the Harry Potter books. I am posting the first one because I have the hard back as well. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is still one of my favorites. It's a very good introduction book and will introduce you to a lot of the main characters.

While not my favorite Harry Potter book, I still found it very enjoyable. If you have never read a Harry Potter book, you should seriously consider giving them a whirl. Very wonderful and imaginative series.

I'm 25 and just getting into the Harry Potter series. MUCH MUCH better than the movies and if you liked the movie, you'll love the book. The only reason I'm getting rid of this one is I've gotten the series in hardback. :-) Try it, you'll be hooked!

This was one of my favorite books in the series, surpassed for me only by the Prisoner of Azkban. This is where it all begins for our young hero. Harry's limited and often desperate life under the stairs at Privett Drive opens up to the endless possibilities of magic, love, and friendship at Hogwarts.

I read this book in my Junior year of high school. I remember how i use to say harry potter was stupid and for little children. But after my mom forced me to watch the movie, I ended up borrowing this book from a friend. I was not displeased with the storyline, and it left me intrigued. This book made me a Harry Potter fanatic. Although it's not my favorite in the series.
