I enjoyed this book and the history of Harvard. Someone who lives or has lived in the Cambridge area would probably enjoy it even more.

Peter Fallon-the hero of William Martin's novel "Back Bay" has found evidence that a priceless treasure-an undiscovered Shakespeare play-is hidden somewhere in the venerable halls of Harvard University. Finding this manuscript is a matter of life and death.

Very intricate and interesting weaving of family history from Shakespeare's time to the present with a modern thriller plot. I liked it enough to get more of his books.

HARVARD YARD is an outstanding fictional account of the creation of Harvard College mixed with a modern day account of present day Harvard. In particular a Harvard alumnus named Peter Fallon, an antiquarian who is in search of a priceless treasure given to John Harvard at the christening of his son back in the 1600s by his good friend William Shakespeare. No need to mention this treasure is probably worth millions in modern day if it can be found. The race is on and one of Boston's most prominent families is involved. The story is riveting and action packed.
