Apale ghost in a garden pond... Its a light simple read. A nice way to spend the afternoon under a blanket.
From the backcover: You are cordially invited to a haunting. A nightmare encounter with forces beyond the realm of science and sanity. The surviving heirs of the Mariell family knew their country home was haunted by an unspoken horror from the past. Now, they've challenged David Ash, a skeptical psychic investigator, to prove them wrong-to dismiss the chilling sounds of a child's distant laughter. But not even Ash can explain the shockingly real vision of a pale young girl whose irresistible embrace pulls him down beneath the weeds and the garden pond...and may trap him there forever.
Once you start it you will not want to put it down...ghost story
Pretty good book! Great for Halloween. Takes place in England where the late author is from. I totally didnt expect the ending in this one, it was a huge surprise! This is book one in a Trilogy. Book 2 is "Ghosts of Sleath" and the third is called, "Ash". Ive been wishing for "Ash" for a long time, its hard to get a hold of. Anyway this was a great start and look forward to starting book 2 2morrow.
Not the book I thought it would be.
