Debbie V. (DebbieinMaine) reviewed Hayburner (Gail McCarthy Mystery, Bk 7) on + 113 more book reviews
Another good women's horse fiction series. Easy reads. Like the other review, read them in order to become familiar with repeat characters.
Make sure you read her books in Order, this is number 7. She adds onto her story. If you skip a book you may miss out on some information. Many of her characters show up in next stories. Many of her clients show up in future books. All her books are easy reads and can be finished in 1 day.
This poor women every time she turns around there is a disaster. Her depression is over and the book was an easier read. The subject of the book was very sad. I could hear the horses screaming and smell the charred flesh. In this book she is still torn on who to pick for a lover. The villian is easy to spot if you pick up on the clues early on.
