I grabbed this book when a friend of mine was looking for it (I actually got her a copy of it). It looked interesting, so I picked up a copy for myself later on. I was expecting light chick-lit, but was surprised by the depth of this novel. The author does an amazing job of developing Charlotte; I feel like I know her. I want to know what happens to her. I find I actually care (yeah, I totally realize the book is fiction, people). Very well written. I'll be looking for her first book, which I haven't read yet :-)

This was an interesting book. You meet 40 somethign Charlotte who has been divorced for over 15 years, yet she doesn't date and seems to like being by herself even though it scares her. She has a 22 year old daughter who drops a bombshell on her and the book basically explores their relationship. It was a pretty good book though i found both Charlotte and her daughter a tad annoying at times.
