This is a heart warming story about second chances. When widower Erik Muth, who has just lost his wide in childbirth searches for a wet nurse for his sickly newborn daughter he manages to finds a new widow Antonia Valleau. Antonia is wandering with her two sons for a place to live since the death of her husband . Having a nursing son she agrees to help wet nurse the new baby girl. This is a wonderful story about two lost souls who find each other and combine families to make a new unit. I really enjoyed this book and found it very hard to put down.
