This is such a well written and inspiring book. I didn't want to ever put it down. I've been reading a lot about autism, and I've been utterly intrigued with each and every book that I've been able to get my hands on, but I wish I could give a copy of this particular book to everybody who knows anybody who is stricken with autism.
The bulk of this book is telling a mom's story of her baby recovering from autism using a certain kind of therapy, 'behavior modification'. At the end of the story, she describes some of the other therapies that are being used, and hyped about, and it was just fascinating for me to see the differences in opinions, and approach.
Please read this book if you haven't already. It gave me such an education about a topic that I believed I already knew alot about.
