This volume contains two of Spencer's stories, brought out together for the first time ("Forsaking All Others" and "A Promise to Cherish"). The warmth of her writing and the character development are typically Lavyrle Spenser, as is the wonderful feeling after reading any of her books.
I've always loved LaVyrle Spencer's books, beginning with MORNING GLORY. In A HEART SPEAKS, you get 2 books in one. FORSAKING ALL OTHERS and A PROMISE TO CHERISH. Both are fun, sexy, and romantic, with the emphasis on fun. I enjoyed them.
There is nothing like a good Lavyrle Spencer novel. This would have to be one of my top 5 favorite Lavyrle Spencers. This book has two great stories, very similar, yet completely different. That is what is so great about Spencer, she can give you so many different view points.
Both stories are very good.
