So many time travel stories leave you with more questions than satisfaction... after all, it's hard to keep things matched up right when you mess with time! But Lynn Kurland really does a fantastic job as she has fun with the threads of time. The little hints and subtleties that you'll pick up on your second or third read make it even better than it was the first time through... and for me to really love a book, it has to be good over and over again!
She does such a wonderful job, too, of taking us through the range of questions and answers and emotion that Thomas goes through in this story. Iolanthe's is more hidden then most of Lynn's characters, but the book is still fantastic.

Book 7 in the MacLeod series. This is a time travel book. Thomas McKinnon restores a 12 century castle and as he does so he finds the restless spirit of a medieval Scottish woman. She is so haunting that he would do anything and risk everything to make her his forever.

This is my absolute favorite Lynn Kurland. It's the first I read, and I've read it multiple times since. Always a pleasure.

I have read all of Ms. Kurland's books. She is one of the best. I liked this book. Like those that came before she specializes stories in time travel and they are always well written and believeable.
Typical for Kurland but well worth it. Makes you wish there were such a family and you were part of it.

A lovely story, detailing the history and eventual relationship of Thomas McKinnon and Iolanthe MacLeod. Well-written as all Lynn Kurland's novels, but not my favorite of the bunch. I do like the reoccurance of the some of the popular characters and the way the plot intertwines with their stories. A great read!

My Heart Stood Still is yet another beautiful, clean romance by Kurland!
She is a ghost of a woman roaming the castle waiting for Thomas. He comes with hammer in hand ready to renovate little does he know what awaits.
This book captures the haunting beauty of England, past and present -- and the exquisite tenderness of timeless love.

I loved this book! One of the ones I have enjoyed the most.

Good story.
Great time travel and love story. Lynn Kurland knows how to write a book that you can't put down!
I loved it! Love the Kurland books, they're historically correct, has some humor, good plots and of course love always wins!
