This series made me love the town and the people. In fact I wish I could visit this fictional place and meet these charismatic people. Debbie Macomber is gifted in recreating places and folks one just want to befriend. Amidst the romance and cowboy life she even introduces a mystery that unravels as the story goes on.

Two great Debbie Macomber stories easy & fast reads...from Promise TX....Nell Bishop falls in love with a NY writer Travis Grant in Nell's Cowboy and Amy Thornton falls in love with Wade McMillen in Lone Star Baby. If you like Debbie's books you won't be disappointed in these two stories.

This was great! Both stories are so heart warming. Nell, after her husbands death finally meets her match and then the pastor!!!

A good tale (or couple of tales) of Promise TX. I've enjoyed all of the Promise stories and all of the characters. Good, quick reads.
