RT Reviews only gave this 2 stars, but I liked it a lot more than that! You do have to be willing to accept a magical stone that grants wishes, but real characters were enough to make it work for me. I loved the buff academic heroine (the only way she could successfully tutor college football players was by working out with them) and the tough but tender sheriff hero (performs daring rescues and changes diapers). The story will make much more sense if you've read the whole series. Otherwise, you'll still get the love story, but spend a lot of time wondering who all the other characters are.
