I am not much of a romance reader unless it is paranormal, but I really enjoyed this book. It was quick, cute and interesting enough to hold my attention.

Eloise is an angel who has been sent to Earth to experience human emotion and love. Nathan is a widowed police detective with a 5 year old daughter who is not the least bit interested in love. When they meet sparks fly.

Like a classic movie with a delightfully modern twist, Judi McCoys enchanting novels create a world where true romance is always out of the ordinary. In Heaven Sent, a widowed detective gets a second chance at love with a woman he never expected

All He Wants For Christmas

As a cop, Nathan Baxter is sworn to protect and serve, but none of his training could help him save his wifes life. Now, the sexy widower has his hands full raising his adorable five-year-old daughter, Phoebe, and keeping his meddling mothershe of the yoga classes in full makeup and minkfrom constantly searching for the next Mrs. Nathan Baxter. If theres anything the handsome detective doesnt need, its opening himself and his daughter up to heartbreak
again.

Is A Certain Heavenly Body

But Phoebes new kindergarten teacher seems to have other ideas, asking the child all sorts of questions about her lifeand her father. Nathan intends to set things straight, but meeting with the attractive, free-spirited Miss Starr leaves him anything but settled. Theres something strange and compelling about the womanlike a fish out of waterthat makes him both suspicious and smittenand the closer he gets, the more he realizes shes not like any woman
hes ever known before

This was a really cute story. Quick holiday read, and the characters are brought to life very well. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and would recommend it to anyone!
