I love this series but this was probably my least favorite, I think because she wrote it mostly from the guy's point of view and I prefer my romance novels to be from the women's point of view.

a sequel to The McKaslin Clan:
Special forces soldier Ben McKaslin returned home whth a bum leg, a bad attitude and his career in tatters. Then, in one defining moment, an emergency had him leaping instinctively to the rescue--and locking eyes with the captivating woman he'd left behind. Could this have been God's plan all along?
After her own crushing setback, Cadence Chapman had learned to embrace life to the fullest. But she'd also learned how to safeguard her heart. Yet as sparks reignited between her and Ben while he rehabilitated, she realized she still loved him to the depths of her soul. Dare she pin all her dreams on this embitered military man who had no idea how blessed he truly was?

This is a Mckaslin Clan book set in Montana. A special forces soldier named Ben comes home with a bad leg and during an emergency he meets up again with the woman he'd left behind. An excellent book to read.
This is a good light read, heartwarming as all of the Love Inspired books are.
