Really disappointed in this book. Although the characters and their relationships were somewhat interesting, the format of the book is very disjointed. Each chapter is told from a different point of view and narrated by a different person, jumping back and forth. But instead of working together like a patchwork quilt, the story is more like a macaroni necklace, each piece hanging on a thin string with little shape or interest.
I had hoped the story would improve and kept listening, but it was like the proverbial car crash that people can't take their eyes off of...they just want to see whether anyone gets out alive.
Unfortunately, even till the end, I found it hard to survive this book.
