I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. Averill is well written but I wouldn't necessarily call her a hellion. Kade is a wonderful character too, even if he is extremely sexually frustrated, under the circumstances he had many reasons to be. Number one being someone may be trying to kill him. Worth the read.

A great book to curl up with for a few hours. The heroine of this story is refreshingly funny in her ignorance and honesty. The naive things she does while trying to take advice from many others had me laughing out loud.

I have always been fond of Sand's immortal novels but I think she actually does a better job with her historical romance. This is only my second one by her and both books gave me a good laugh.
I have to admit that Averill is far from a hellion but she is rather capable and Kade respected her for it.
Great, quick read.
